Desitin a umění
Nemoc, zvláště chronická, představuje vždy narušení osobního života a může signifikantním způsobem ovlivnit kvalitu života. Uznávaný odborník v historii epilepsie a epileptologie a rovněž v oblasti umění a literatury z oblasti epilepsie je Dr.Med. H.Schneble, který se tomuto tématu během svého profesního života věnoval.

Merrell, born in 1983, received her artistic training at the Art Institute of Boston and the Tamarind Institute of Lithography in Albuquerque, NM; she is currently living and working in Somerville, MA, in the vicinity of Boston.)

The red curtain or Hommage à Vincent
The picture was created approx. in 1965 by an unkown patient in his painting therapy. The painter shows the whole problem of his disease, paying homage to Vincent van Gogh (who also suffered from epilepsy), by sublimating this problem in his painting.
